KELP SMOOTHIE

Looking to add more nutrient-rich, earth-friendly, carbon negative sea greens to your diet? Our Kelp Puree comes in a resealable pouch for easy squeezing into your favorite foods. Created by @jen_bushman, this kelp-infused smoothie is packed with nutrients from all the greens (including seaweed!), has creamy texture thanks to avocado, and a lovely tartness from apple. ⁠

And don’t worry, the Kelp Puree won’t make your smoothie taste too salty – it simply brings a richness that plays very well with the other flavors. Plus, it adds iodine, magnesium and iron – important nutrients that many Americans are deficient in!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup spinach, stemmed and chopped
  • ¼ avocado
  • 2 Tbsp Blue Evolution Kelp Puree
  • ½ apple, unpeeled, cored, and chopped
  • 1 ½ cups apple juice⠀⠀⠀
Method:
  1. Add all ingredients to the blender.
  2. Blend until smooth, adding water to reach the desired consistency.
  3. Enjoy and feel the superfood powers absorb into your body!
